Kay’fit, Barre
KAY’FIT is my own style, a hybrid workout combining elements of pilates,barre and plyometric training. Doing intense cardio intervals between each section and getting your heart rate high, reaching your highest level of fitness, strength, endurance, flexibility and stability. The unique thing is we flow to the next exercise without taking a break using weights, resistance bands and your own body resistance , sometimes a stepper, a box or various other equipment is used to change it up and challenge us further. We are constantly changing up the workouts so your body is always challenged and reaching new levels. Fun, energetic and a must!
BARRE is a hybrid workout including ballet inspired moves with elements of pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. It focuses on high reps of small range of movements. Often you use a barre and there is a barre section to each class. It burns more calories than you can imagine. It delivers a full body workout. It works you from head to toe and its great for strengthening your core and toning your legs and glutes while burning fat. It is quite a low impact so it is excellent for people who are recovering from an injury. Most barre classes can be modified for post natal clients. You use light weights and resistance bands and your own body resistance. You don’t need any dance experience to try and join the classes and trust me. You burn so many calories and have fun while doing it.

Please note KAY’FIT classes are in studio 1 and are a combination of Barre, Pilates, HIIT and plyometric training.
Drop in classes with no membership are R200.
